Trapit's mission is to help our customers connect with their buyers through employee advocacy and digital selling. Our technology flattens barriers to end-user adoption, scales quickly, and provides detailed reporting.

Our Story

Founded in 2010, Trapit began as an award-winning content discovery and curation engine. Its core technology was derived from a $200M DARPA-funded research project in Artificial Information and Machine Learning, and our first customers used our platform to find quality content on the ever-expanding web.

In December of 2014, Trapit merged with Addvocate, a leader in the employee advocacy space. The combined product was launched in April of 2015, attracting the attention of multiple Fortune 500 buyers. By combining a best-in-class content curation platform with a top-of-the-line employee advocacy workflow, we ended the reliance on disparate point solutions for B2B social media. With Trapit, marketers and sales teams now have access to the industry’s most complete and compelling sales enablement and employee advocacy workflow, which includes the discovery, curation, delivery, amplification, and analysis of unique content across social networks, CRM and email.
